Terms of registration
These terms apply when you register for a course, study circle, lecture or similar event with us. The text is written in clear language to ensure everyone can understand it, but it still contains all the rules required by Swedish law (the Distance Contracts Act, Consumer Services Act, GDPR, etc.).

1. Registration and confirmation
Binding registration
When you register and receive our confirmation, you enter into an agreement with us.
Confirmation
If there is room on the course, you will receive a written confirmation, usually by email. The date on the confirmation starts your withdrawal period of 14 days; read more under Right of withdrawal below.
Notice
Before the course begins, we will send you a notice with the start date, times and place. If the course is fully booked, you may first be wait-listed and receive a final notice of confirmation at a later date.
Specific terms for certain forms of education
For seminars, diploma courses/programs, and longer courses or degrees, special terms conditions regarding, e.g. attendance, grades or partial payment may apply. Such terms and conditions are always set out in the course-specific information and take precedence over these general terms and conditions.
2. If you are under 18 years of age
If you are under 18 years of age, a legal guardian must register you and act as a party to the contract.
3. Course fee and payment
Course fee
The price is always indicated in the course information.
Invoice or direct payment
Upon registration, you can pay directly or choose between different payment methods.
Terms of payment
Pay directly or by the date stated on the invoice.
Delayed payment
In case of non-payment or late payment, we may charge reminder fees and penalty interest on arrears, as required by law.
4. Cancelled course or schedule change
Cancelled course
If we cancel a course before its start date, you will receive a full refund of the course fee.
Postponed start
If the start of the course is postponed for more than a week, you can cancel your registration and receive a full refund of the course fee.
Time changes
If we change the days or times so that you cannot participate, you have the right to cancel your registration and get your money back.
Minor changes
A change of course leader or venue within the same locality does not normally entitle you to a refund if the content and quality of the course are otherwise unchanged.
5. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
According to the Distance Contracts Act (page in Swedish), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received the confirmation.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
Notify us by contacting the office that is organising the course. You must do so within 14 days.
Refund
We will refund your payment within 14 days of the date you notify us.
Course start within the withdrawal period
If the course starts within your 14-day withdrawal period:
- Through your registration, you ask us to immediately start the 14-day withdrawal period.
- You can exercise your right of withdrawal at any time during the 14-day period.
- If you decide to withdraw, you only pay for the lessons already held.
- Once the course is completely over or when 14 days have passed (whichever happens first), no right of withdrawal remains.
No right of withdrawal when you register in person
If you register in person at our premises, the 14-day rule does not apply, because the right of withdrawal is governed by the Distance Contracts Act.
Events on a specific day
For single lectures or activities on a certain date, the right of withdrawal may be excluded. If so, we will inform you at the time of registration.
6. Cancellation after the withdrawal period
Once the withdrawal period has expired, you can still cancel your registration in accordance with these rules:
Cancellation before the start of the course
The course fee is refunded, minus a ten per cent administrative fee (not less than SEK 100).
Cancellation after the start of the course
If you discontinue the course for no particular reason, you will not receive a refund.
Persistent learning disability
If you must discontinue the course due to illness (with a medical certificate) or other unforeseen and lasting impediment, we will refund the remaining part of the course fee, but not the cost of course materials. Inform us as soon as possible if such a situation arises.
7. Absence
If you miss a course date for reasons other than those mentioned above, you will be counted as absent. You will not receive any financial compensation or additional review of the material covered on the day you missed.
8. Course materials
Required reading and other materials are not included in the course fee, unless we specify otherwise.
9. Complaints and disputes
Problems with the course
Contact us as soon as possible if the course does not correspond to what we promised.
The Consumer Services Act
We comply with the law; if there are problems with a course, you may be entitled to a price deduction or other action.
The National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN)
If we do not agree, you can contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes. We will abide by ARN’s decision.
10. VAT
- For almost all of our courses, the price is VAT exempt – the amount you see is exactly what you pay.
- If VAT is added (for example, on a course ordered by a company), this is clearly stated in the course description.
- If it is necessary to charge VAT, we show it on the invoice, so both individuals and companies see the total amount directly.
- These rules comply with the Value Added Tax Act (Chapter 10, Sections 15–18 and Section 30, Item 5).
11. Personal data (GDPR)
We process personal data for the purpose of course administration and comply with the GDPR. You have the right to receive information, request correction or deletion, and complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
