Balettakademien Stockholm proudly invites you to attend the conference Dance for Health – Health for Dance, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on 8-10 November.
- Dance for Health: How can the benefits of dance be used to promote health? Our speakers and workshop leaders will give us the latest on dance and neuroscience, as well as share their expertise in leading dance groups for the elderly, for young people in the community, and for persons with Parkinson's disease.
- Health for Dance: an important factor when it comes to treating and preventing dance injuries.
By attending this conference you get to listen to and learn from some of the most renowned persons within this field, during two full days of interesting lectures and workshops.
To this event we have invited international guest lecturers to share their thoughts and experiences with us, in both lectures and workshops.
Who should attend?
If you are a practitioner in the field of dance and/or health, with interest in reducing dance injuries. Dancers, fysiotherapists, people working in the health sector, music and dance therapists are most likely to have great interest in taking part of the new thinking within this area.
2.400 SEK (approx. 210 EUR)
The entrance fee gives you access to both conference days including the opening night on Friday.
Travel and accommodation are not included in the admission.
