MAAS (Match, Attach, and Sustain)
New Methods for Europe’s Job Brokers supporting Tourism businesses, Ukrainian refugees, and job seekers
The overall aim of the MAAS (Match, Attach, and Sustain) project is to develop and implement a job brokerage system, by upskilling and developing the job brokers that work within it, which will help refugees and job seekers, particularly those displaced by the war in Ukraine, to find suitable employment opportunities, targeted towards the Tourism sector.
Its specific objectives are to:
• Identify the needs and expectations of Job Brokers with regard to the development of new and blended, digitally enabled employment counseling methods
• Build and elaborate a transnational Community of Practice, as a training and development forum, of European Job Brokers to co-create and produce the MAAS (Match, Attach, and Sustain) methods
• Design, produce, and publish new digital resources, including an eGuidance Toolkit for Job Brokers and a novel eTracking Tool and Portfolio Builder program
• Validate the efficacy of the methods and disseminate them widely across stakeholders in education and training, tourism, and refugee resettlement
• Establish a new Cooperation Partnership to realise and exploit the project results and establish a new, sustained capacity to support Ukrainian resilience and reconstruction.
