WEntre
Women empowerment through entrepreneurship
The WEntre project is dedicated to empowering women in developing countries, especially Egypt, by enhancing vocational education and training (VET). It focuses on creating vocational education programs that promote entrepreneurship and address issues like unemployment and gender inequality.
Key goals of the project include:
- Encouraging collaboration between VET providers and entrepreneurship organizations to improve digital skills.
- Developing new curricula that align with European standards for entrepreneurship education.
- Strengthening the ability of VET providers to create effective learning materials. Creating assessment tools to recognize non-formal learning achievements.
- Providing capacity-building activities, such as workshops and training for educators.
The project will emphasize six core competencies related to women's entrepreneurship, including literacy, digital skills, and cultural awareness. By sharing successful strategies with VET providers, WEntre aims to make a significant impact on women's entrepreneurship.
