The IDOL initiative is focused on creating and refining a novel educational framework that enables higher education institution (HEI) staff and lecturers to implement intergenerational digital service learning.
This approach emphasizes innovative collaborative methods, enhanced digital competencies, and a comprehensive understanding of service learning's significance beyond being a "third mission" activity. Instead, it positions service learning as a fundamental aspect of the educational mission within higher education.
