My roots for physical practices are in contemporary circus, which I studied at Cirkus Cirkör in Stockholm. My passion for circus remained but the perspective shifted from focusing on the external apparatuses that are typical for circus, into working with a body that works with external apparatuses. With this shift of order the body became the apparatus and I got into dancing, and started studying at Balettakademien Göteborg. Nowadays the passion lies in accumulating acrobatic vocabulary and methods to dance with. I've worked/ work as a dancer and an acrobat for companies and choreographs such as ILDance (Israel Aloni), Accca (Clara Andermatt) and PAx (Kyrie Oda).
I hold lessons in combining principles of acrobatic movement with dance practice. The lessons aim to give tools for exploring acrobatics by diving into the mechanics behind the tricks, allowing to utilise them for individual exploration beyond fixed tricks. Towards dancing with the acrobatic mechanics. By breaking down the tricks into methods, the acrobatics become accessible for less experienced as well as give food for thought for the experienced.
The lessons consist of guided exploration into these methods and of acrobatic exercises and sequences to give experiences of acrobatics.
