Michaeljon Slinger is a choreographer and former Broadway performer whose work spans stage and screen worldwide. His recent choreography credits include Feud: Capote vs. The Swans (FX), Disney 100: The Concert (Sydney Opera House), Comic Relief (BBC), and The Tonight Show with The Backstreet Boys. As an Associate Choreographer, he has collaborated on the upcoming film The Deb (directed by Rebel Wilson) and the Broadway musical The Heart of Rock and Roll.
A seasoned Broadway performer, Michaeljon made his debut in West Side Story (2009) and went on to appear in Billy Elliot, Evita, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Matilda, and Hello, Dolly! (starring Bette Midler). He has also performed on the Academy Awards, Tony Awards, and Kennedy Center Honors.
Originally from Queensland Australia, Michaeljon first came to the United States after receiving an invitation to attend the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre on full scholarship. Later, he joined the prestigious BFA dance program at The Juilliard School in New York. He is distinguished among peers and fellow nationals as being the first Australian to ever be accepted into either institution.
