Terms of registration for Balettakademien programmes
Terms of registration
The following terms and conditions of registration apply for Balettakademien’s programmes.
Fees
Our programmes are subject to a fee that includes an administration fee of SEK 2,000. The administration fee is invoiced in conjunction with the dispatch of the admission notification. The administration fee is non-refundable. The programme fee is invoiced at the start of each school term, approximately two weeks into each term, and must be paid in full before the programme ends.
Admissions
Once you have accepted the offered place on the programme, enrolment is legally binding and you are guaranteed a place on the programme.
Student grants and loans/CSN
Folkuniversitetet’s university preparatory programmes are under the supervision of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education and are eligible for financial study support. The programme entitles you to apply for financial study support for your living expenses, as well as a so-called additional loan for the programme fee from the Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN).
Cancellations
A written cancellation must be sent to ba.sthlm@folkuniversitetet.se at the latest, 21 days before the programme starts.
If you are forced to cancel your programme due to long-term illness, the following conditions apply. You must submit a medical certificate as proof of your inability to complete your studies in the specific programme. The certificate should be attached with a written cancellation and submitted to ba.sthlm@folkuniversitetet.se. You will be charged for the classes that have taken place up until the date that we received the cancellation, as well as 10% of the total programme fee. In the event of cancellation for other reasons, you will be charged the total programme fee for the academic year.
In the event of a dispute, please refer to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden). We always follow their recommendations.
These terms are subject to any changes made necessary by circumstances beyond the control of Balettakademien/Folkuniversitetet.
