Who is this course for?
This course is for adults with A2+ /B1 level English who want to work in the construction industry and wish to improve their communication skills at work, especially when talking to colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
What will you learn?
We will help you develop your English communication skills in a construction industry context so you can speak more accurately and naturally.
Course Content:
We will help you develop practical English related to construction work. You will learn to:
- Talk about your job, work tasks and responsibilities using the right vocabulary.
- Talk about work schedules and plans – deadlines and progress updates.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
- Give and follow instructions at work, including safety and emergency procedures.
- Describe tools, equipment, materials, and work processes
- Report problems, delays, and incidents at the construction site.
- Deal with problems in the workplace – reporting issues and suggesting solutions
- Engage in small talk and teamwork discussions to help build good relationships with colleagues
- Write texts in the workplace - short emails, work orders, and incident reports.
- Participation in interactive activities – role-plays, discussions, and practical exercises.
- Listening and speaking practice – improving communication skills.
- Reading and writing tasks – working with real workplace materials.
- Group work and problem-solving tasks – to encourage teamwork and confidence.
- Feedback and corrections – to help you improve your grammar and vocabulary.
- Homework and self-study suggestions – to practice what you have studied.
Course aims:
By the end of this course, you should:
- Feel more confident speaking English at work.
- Use construction-related vocabulary more correctly.
- Understand and follow work instructions more easily.
- Communicate more effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Write simple work emails, reports, and messages.
- Speak more naturally in professional and social conversations.
Certificate of Attendance:
Upon request, a course certificate can be provided to students who attend at least 75% of the classes.

The course is fully online, and you can join from a computer, tablet, or mobile device with an internet connection and a camera.
