Aim of the course
After this course your will have completed level A1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference. When you have completed this level you can introduce yourself and ask others about their name and where they live. You can understand and use simple words and phrases concerning your needs or everyday situations. You can communicate with someone who speaks slowly and clearly.
Contents
This is the second part (of two) of the Swedish course for level A1. You will continue to learn to deal with simple day-to-day situations such as presenting yourself and ask for directions. At the end of the course you will be able to communicate about simple topics with someone who speaks slowly and clearly. In this course you will learn:
- simple words and phrases
- to talk about yourself
- to ask simple questions and understand simple answers
- basic grammar
- to talk and write in Swedish about simple subjects
- about Swedish culture and society
Course structure
The teaching is in Swedish from the beginning and the main focus is on oral communication.
We use practical daily life situations for practicing - in pairs or in small groups. We work a lot with listening comprehension and conversation skills, where grammar is integrated.
You are expected to take an active part in the lessons and your personal points of view and are a valuable contribution to how the course is conducted. To benefit from the course you should plan a couple of hours of homework per week.
Teacher
Our teachers are well-qualified and experienced. They teach exclusively in Swedish.
Course literature
Rivstart A1+A2, text and exercise book. Course books are not included in the course fee. You will be able to use this book for the A1 and A2 courses. When you advance and take a B1 course in the future, you have to buy new course books.
How to register and pay for a course
Go to "BOKA KURSEN NU" , there you can choose an application form in Swedish or in English. If you do not have a Swedish "personal number", please use the English form.
All courses start only if a minimum number of people sign up.

If you wish to continue after this course, you choose "Svenska A2 del 1" next time.
