At Folkuniversitetet in Sundsvall you can study Sfi - Swedish for immigrants. With the help of our skilled and committed sfi teachers, you will gain good knowledge of Swedish and Swedish society.

When you study Swedish for immigrants (sfi), you get more than just language instruction. The language is a very important part, but it is also important to get to know Swedish society and working life.

With us you get:

• After each completed course and completed test, you receive a grade

When you study with us, you can combine your sfi studies with other courses or educations.

Our pedagogy

Renewal and Educational development are central values ​​for us. There are many paths to knowledge and we encourage our teachers to constantly improve and adapt their methodology and content to the participants. We do this so that you, as a participant, will reach the knowledge goal within Sfi.

Study paths

Study path 1
For those who have little or no school background from their home country and who cannot read and write in your own language.

Within study path 1 there are courses A, B, C and D.

Study path 2
For those who have studied at primary school or upper secondary school in your home country to a lesser extent than the corresponding Swedish upper secondary school.

Within study path 2 there are courses B, C and D.

Study path 3
For those who have an education equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or who have participated in university studies. You need good study habits and the ability to work independently.

Within study path 3 there are courses C and D.

You can study the following times:
Morning at 08.30 - 12.00
Afternoon at 13.00 - 16.30
